About Ruth

Ruth is a top real estate producer across Santa Cruz County. She has lived in Aptos since 1995 and loved every minute of it, having transplanted herself from Silicon Valley where she worked for 20+ years in the high-tech industry.

She holds a master’s degree in Business and her Broker’s License, and she considers herself to be a true real estate professional. She works with buyers and sellers and properties of all types including homes, condos, town homes, mobile homes, land, and multi-res.

She loves working with buyers! Her first-time home buyers know that she is with them every single step of the way. Her investor clients know that she helps them do their financial homework in terms of achieving their ROI and cash-flow objectives and she is very familiar with 1031 exchanges. She works with buyers to purchase “normal sales” as well as short sales, REOs, and flip properties, and she explains the nuances of each of those types of transactions in this market. She has buyer clients with whom she has worked with for many years to find their perfect home. She is very loyal, and she wants all her buyers to have their happy ending.

She loves working with sellers too! She is passionate about understanding the current market and providing the best marketing strategies in that market. Strong negotiations and bringing a project through to a successful conclusion is what drives her. She provides the highest level of service and expertise to each of her clients.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting and is currently doing plein air oil painting work and taking oil painting courses. She also enjoys golf, jogging, and working out. She is also a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister program and has been for 6 years. Her little is now 15 years old and taller than her and it is very rewarding work, and she highly recommends the program.
