Sam Koon

Sam is a founding partner of Koon Property Group, LLC, and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Broker of Record. He has nearly 45 years of experience in the real estate business as an appraiser, developer, consultant, and licensed real estate broker. Sam leads and oversees the firm’s development, investment, acquisition, and sales/leasing efforts. He works closely with his development and brokerage teams, giving vision to each project and directing site analyses and acquisitions, pre-development strategies, leasing, sales, and finance. Previously, Sam founded Calgary Realty, Ltd., a commercial real estate brokerage firm that was active through 2021 before consolidating brokerage efforts under Koon Property Group. Sam also founded Samuel D. Koon & Associates, Ltd., an active commercial real estate appraisal firm, in 1997 and serves as its President. Motivated by a passion to serve clients with honesty and integrity by providing the most cost-effective solutions to their problems, Sam leads a full-service real estate appraisal and consulting firm that has serviced hundreds of clients, ranging from lending institutions to government entities and a wide variety of public and private clients throughout Ohio and the United States. Sam grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and currently lives in Bexley with his wife, Sharon.
