At the beginning of our search, we met with Zach and Sam to get an overview of Nashville neighborhoods and the current real estate market. Zach took it from there and went above and beyond - he's so easy to talk to and was patient with us as we explored new parts of town and narrowed our search parameters. Brittany Hall was recommended to me from multiple people on the East Nashville Facebook group, and I couldn't be more grateful for the recommendation as she has been a gem! This was my first home purchase and I was a nervous wreck with literally no idea what I was doing. She answered all my questions so quickly and had such patience with me. As first time home buyers, we feel incredibly lucky to have found the Nashville Home Guys. We met Brittany during an open house before we were super serious about buying. We kept in touch with her and she invited us to the NHG’s free “first time home buyers” class where we learned so much about the buying process. The class taught us how truly feasible it was to buy our first home.

Brittany has been an amazing realtor during the entire process. She was incredibly patient and taught us so much. She brought us out of our comfort zone and showed us homes in areas we didn’t initially consider. If she hadn’t done that, we wouldn’t have found our dream starter home! She recommended homes that not only fit our wants list, but also helped us find a good, long term investment.

Steve is one of the most genuine and heartwarming person I have ever done business with. He exudes a dedication that is unmatched by any realtor I have ever worked with. The thing is; he is not just a realtor because he cares, he is a friend. The Nashville Home Guys has a bevy of realtors that supported me through the process of buying land.

They do not specialize in land, but we wanted acreage and Steve made countless hour plus trips to show my wife and I acreage and unlike most realtors I have dealt with gave his opinion even if he knew that his opinion may mean about 70 mile drive next weekend.

Steven Miller is the best ever, he’s the most caring, the most knowledgeable, the most likable realtor there has ever been. No one can stop him. There’s no one that can match him, he’s cut from the cloth of the greats. His style is in a class by himself.

He was also able to take us around some questionable terrain.

Brittany was such an asset in my home purchase. We encountered everything you could possibly imagine and we worked for a long time to find me a place to call home. When I told our lender the specifications of the real estate agent that we wanted, I did not think they could actually possibly exist. Steve has been doing this for over 20 years, he has been working in real estate when the industry was up and down- he is experienced the industry during a seller’s market and a buyer’s market. But it was not just his experience that impressed us - his efforts, intentions and work ethic met and even surpassed my expectations. He never tried to sells us something we didn’t want, he consistently pointed out issues in homes that didn’t meet our uneducated eyes, and constantly made himself available to us. At the end of the day, we landed our dream home and while we don’t plan on moving from this home anytime soon, I would 100% work with Steve again and would highly recommend him and his team to anyone needing an agent.

Sam Miller is the absolute man. During the pandemic and a housing market that was in the process of exploding in Nashville, Franklin, Spring Hill and surrounding areas, Sam always had a grasp of what was going on and helped us navigate through the process start to finish. Through diligent research, Sam always had us competitively positioned for offers that were not over the top, but right in the running to win the race that seemed like it might never end given how much people have been overbidding for houses. He never seemed to be stumped by any question we ever sent his way (trust me, as first-time home buyers, there were plenty...) and he was always available to give us advice when necessary, listen when necessary and understand exactly what we were looking for through great conversation and effort on his end. While the house search process today can take forever because so many people are going after the same houses, it only took three offers to get into the house we were looking for (and we were first runner-up on the first two offers among 7 and 21 other offers, respectively).

Next time we need anything for real estate, Sam is our go-to. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Sam, Steve and their team, they'll be the ones selling our house whenever that time comes and they'll certainly be the team guiding us through our next house search down the road. We can't thank them enough!

She is extremely thorough, made every detail one that I understood and walked me through every step of the process. Sam helped us not only sell our first home in three days but also find us a new home in this crazy market before it even went on sell. I can not say enough positive things about our experience with the Nashville Home Guys. Erin was exactly the type of realtor we needed in this crazy market. I can't say enough good things about The Nashville Home Guys. Sam walked with us through a lot of ups and downs in this crazy market. He figured out what was important to myself and my husband, what our priorities were and showed us houses that fit. He was knowledgable about neighborhoods and gave us insight that was important in making decisions that were right for us. He also held us in our raw emotions, the anxiety, the (occasional) disagreements my husband and I had, as spouses sometimes do, like a champ. Sam helped my wife and I buy our first home. Before we even met in person, I called Sam just to get a feel for what was going on with the market and what steps to take as a first time buyer. Erin is the BEST most PROFESSIONAL realtor in the world!! I don’t even know where to begin with how wonderful she was in being my agent to buy a home in Nashville while I live 3 states away. It was just a pure blessing we found her at an open house and it was a look no further relationship after that.
1) STRONG WORK ETHIC: Erin went above and beyond to help me find a home in 2 days, we put in an offer less than 48 hours after beginning our search, as I only had the weekend to be in town. She worked hard to get as many homes for us to see within our specifications. She climbed in crawl spaces and attics that I told her she didn’t have to but she wanted to make sure the houses were as represented as best she could.

I have nothing but good things to say about Steve and Sam with The Nashville Home Guys!
It was my first time buying so I was a little intimidated. Steve sent me their "first time buyers guide" which allowed me to familiarize myself with the entire process.
Each day, I'd receive multiple listings and Steve was always a call or text away if I had any questions. If I was interested in seeing a listing, a tour was usually set up within 24 hours (most of the time, the day of).
Though Nashville is continuing to be a hot market and real estate is going within a few days of being listed, I never felt pressured into jumping into things. Steve wanted to make sure it was a right fit for me.
It was kind of intimidating to walk through a strangers house during Covid-19, but that's just another example of how they go the extra mile for you. Steve would go through the listing ahead of me showing up and wipe down surfaces and door handles.
I can't stress it enough - if you are looking for a dedicated and friendly realtor, I strongly recommend giving The Nashville Home Guys a chance!

This review has two parts. For part 1, we initially reached out to Sam about selling our home. He gave us really good consultative advice regarding our options after he had a thorough understanding of why we were selling. Sam and his dad Steve came over multiple times and really made sure they knew the value of our house. They were very professional but more importantly, we felt that they truly embraced how we felt about our home and were enthusiastic about selling it. From their experience in Nashville, high quality marketing (pictures, videos, networking, etc.), we were able to get our house under contract in 48 hours upon listing, during COVID no less. After we were under contract, Sam was fantastic at communicating our buyer's needs to us and laying out all of our options for negotiation. Even though everything felt so uncertain due to the current climate, Sam really helped put our concerns at ease and got the job done by closing the deal exactly within our requested timeframe.

For part 2, when it came to finding a new home, Sam introduced us to Erin Myers. Right off the bat, we got a really great first impression from her -- since she was new to Sam's team, she seemed hungry to be successful and became a big advocate for us as we were searching for our next home. Little did we know, not only was Erin hungry to build her real estate business, but she is a downright badass. Erin is highly knowledgable in the East Nashville real estate landscape and went above and beyond to make sure we knew what we wanted, what we didn't, and what we would be willing to concede given our budget. Initially we thought that we wanted to buy a fixer-upper that could be a home for us for the next ten (or more) years. The first place we saw with Erin was really charming but in an unfavorable condition, which Erin did not pressure us on to buy but instead helped us understand what a money-pit actually looks like in person :) We then ended up going under contract on a place that needed some work too, but Erin's due diligence and recommendations showed us that there was a lot of work to be done on the foundation of the house. She went to bat for us throughout the negotiation and didn't let us back down from what we were requesting, but ultimately saved us from making a potential mistake. From there, Erin recommended for us to check out a new construction home to keep our bases covered and upon touring the home, we fell in love with it. Again, she went to bat for us during the negotiations with the builder and was able to get us into that home in 30 days with everything that we asked for. Thanks to Erin, we got everything we wanted and more and anybody who works with her is extremely fortunate.

All in all, we highly recommend using the Nashville Home Guys because they really take the time to understand their clients, their clients' needs, and only make recommendations based on what's best for their clients.

Not only did my family buy a house during COVID-19 but we bought a house, site unseen from TWO states away. AND IT IS PERFECT. We worked with Sam on a FSBO. Sam knew what his clients were looking for and bc he had his finger on the pulse of what is going on in Nashville, he asked if we would be willing to let his clients look at our house. Fortunately, he was right and they made us an offer. We did not have to go through the process of listing on FSBO websites and multiple house showings, which was nice. We agreed to have Sam facilitate the paperwork for a percentage of the sale price and while this might make some Sellers anxious that you would not get fair representation, that was not our experience. Sam is very easy to work with and I felt comfortable negotiating terms through him. He was transparent and he bent over backwards for both his clients and us. He went above and beyond to make sure the deal happened!! If you are selling FSBO and Sam shows up at your door with potential buyers, feel confident in opening that door wide and working with him.

This is true → selling a house can be extremely stressful. OR it can be a really smooth process. We’ve been through both. And inevitably in the process of listing a home - hurdles WILL come up. Steve and Sam helped us understand everything along the way, and brought a problem-solver attitude to the table every time.

I asked tons of questions which they had no problem answering over and over again. I also felt I could trust them like family. When we first met Sam and Steve, it was because we were interested in one specific home. I believe we said, "We want THIS house. If we don't get THIS house, we will be staying in our current home." Our past realtor had set an incredibly low bar, and neither my husband or I were excited about working with another realtor. They didn't flinch, even when we found that the home was massively overpriced and needed tons of repairs. They worked with us to extend a fair offer, and it didn't work out. There was no pressure anywhere along the way - they wanted to be certain we weren't overpaying for this home. Ultimately, we didn't get that home, but our story didn't end there.

Once we caught the real estate bug (again), there was no stopping the home shopping. Since we did love the home that we were in, there was no hurry, so we could be picky. Another home came up for sale that we loved, we put together a perfect offer - including a bidding war - and again lost out. They assured us that both of these situations were out of the ordinary, and working through both of the offers with Sam and Steve reinforced our trust in them.

Fast forward to a couple months later, when the next home that checked all of our super-specific boxes came on the market. I was in the hospital having just had a baby, and Sam had a 1-week old baby of his own. He didn't hesitate when we called him the day after we got home to go check out the house. We put in an offer that we were comfortable with, and it was countered. We went back and forth on whether or not we wanted to further pursue it, and really wanted to see it one more time before making the decision. At 6pm on a Saturday, I called Sam to ask if he could meet us back at the house for another look. Thankfully, his wife was gracious enough to let him join us (having a 1-week old and a 2 year old is no joke, and I would have completely understood if she said no!), and we got there just in time to see a magical sunset from the house, which sealed it for us. We put in a counter, and got a verbal acceptance while standing in the driveway of our soon-to-be new home!

The new house needed some work, so we decided to hold off on selling our current home for several weeks until we could move in. If you thought *buying* a home with Sam and Steve sounded like a dream, SELLING was even better! We had a few things to fix up before listing the home, and they were great to bounce ideas off of when it came to prioritizing tasks. I can't tell you how many times I called or texted Sam asking if we should do this or that.

There is a lot to be said for having a realtor team that consists of a seasoned pro like Steve, who has a large network of other realtors and professionals, and tech-savvy Sam, who understands the importance of using video and social media as invaluable tools. Ultimately, it was Sam's drone footage video that he posted on Instagram that caught the attention of our buyer.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam and Steve to anyone who is thinking about buying or selling a home. Their attention to detail and experience make them excellent professionals, but it's their sense of humor and just all-around niceness that makes the entire process a pleasure.

He made himself available to us as often as we needed him and checked with us regularly to find out whether we needed his help. He helped us navigate the process of getting pre-approved for our mortgage and worked tirelessly within our time-frame for when we wanted to find a home, close and move. It worked out perfectly! My husband and I were mostly impressed with the way that Steve treated us as though we were members of his family and we never doubted that our best interest was what he was working toward. When we found our home, before we walked inside, Steve met us on the sidewalk and said, welcome home! He was right! This was/is our home and we've been very happy since closing and moving in. It has not been perfect, as buying existing homes can be, nevertheless Steve didn't leave us after the close and checks in every now and then to see how things are going in our new home.
