About Samuel

A West Virginia native and graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Forest Resource Management. Worked 34 years with USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service where last two positions were Assistant State Conservationist, Field Operations, and Regional Grazing Lands Coordinator. Sam moved to Blacksburg in 1986 and has lived in the New River Valley ever since. He and wife Ellen have three grown children and six grandchildren. Sam has operated a Christmas Tree Farm, built homes and developed subdivisions in Montgomery and Giles counties. Sam started his Real Estate career in 1996. Over those years he has utilized his experience to help both sellers and buyers make important decisions regarding their New River Valley real estate transactions. Sam specializes in single family homes,land and large farm sales in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Craig County, Giles County, Bland County, Floyd County and across southwest Virginia.
