Sandeep Arora knows more than most about high-quality service: He became a licensed Realtor in 2014 after a successful 15-year management career in the food and hospitality industry, where he became an expert not only in responding to customers’ needs but anticipating them before they arose.

That instinct has served him well in real estate: A home is likely the biggest single investment his clients will ever make, and he takes this stewardship seriously as a savvy negotiator in achieving the best deal for his buyers and sellers and making it as smooth as possible for them.

He’s also well-connected with bank programs and lenders, so he can help his clients identify the ones that will best ease their way into becoming homeowners.

This is especially important for first-time home buyers.

Sandeep has excellent knowledge of Boston’s city neighborhoods such as South Boston, Charleston, Malden, Everett, Medford, and its suburbs, including his hometown of Lexington and surrounding areas such as Burlington, Winchester, Arlington, and Waltham. As he knows these markets so well, he’s primed to help sellers achieve the best price for their location. Similarly, he stays with them well beyond settlement to help them find a multitude of other home resources, including contractors and repairmen. In his words, “I go beyond my job duties to help make their perfect home a reality.” A testament to Sandeep’s commitment is that nearly three-quarters of his clients come as referrals from other satisfied buyers and sellers. Sandeep also has several repeat clients, who have either bought investment properties or upgraded to bigger family homes.

Sandeep decided to pursue real estate after he realized he had a knack for helping major food companies such as Quiznos and Gloria Jean’s Coffee identify and lease new locations for their franchises. He’s successfully translated those talents into negotiating residential contracts and finding the right neighborhood for buyers based on their current needs and future plans.

Born and raised in India, Sandeep holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a masters in hospitality management from Lausanne, Switzerland. Sandeep and his wife of 19 years, a biotech professional, lived in California and Arizona during his hospitality career before settling in Lexington in 2012. They have two sons, ages 15 and 8, who attend Lexington public schools. In his free time, Sandeep likes to play tennis, pedal the Minuteman Bikeway, catch up with friends, and travel whenever possible.
