About Sandra
Sandra’s measure success from the smile on her clients’ faces when she places the “sold” sign on their house or hand over the keys to their new home. She truly enjoys getting to know people and helping them reach their real estate goals. Buying/selling real estate can be a stressful and emotional journey, but Sandra will be there by your side, helping guide you through the process. She finds that honesty, experience, good humor, excellent service and negotiating skills are the most important elements of being an “above and beyond” real estate agent - and those traits happen to be her strengths. Whether you are ready to buy, thinking about selling or just want to learn more about the real estate process, Sandra is there to help.
Originally from Jamaica, West Indies, Sandra earned an MBA in Marketing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. A subsequent career in the technology sector brought her to the Bay Area in 1996. The realtor who helped Sandra buy her first home eventually became her friend, teacher, and mentor in building a real estate career. Sandra has always loved helping people. Navigating the sale or purchase of a home takes her enthusiasm to another level. Real estate is not just a job for Sandra, it is her true calling!
Beyond real estate, Sandra is a foodie (looking for the best Ethiopian or Vietnamese cuisine in the East Bay? Ask Sandra!). International travel is her other love; being an “island-girl”, Sandra’s goal is to hit every island beach in the Caribbean. It is Sandra’s belief that philanthropy is integral to making the world a better place. To do their part, Sandra and her husband set up a scholarship fund in her hometown in Jamaica for high school students. She also supplies regular financial support to Home for a Home, a wonderful organization that builds houses for the less fortunate in Central America. Closer to home, she contributes to the Oral Lee Brown Foundation, an Oakland-based educational charity dedicated to helping children reach a college education, as well as to KlaasKids Foundation, a local organization helping to keep kids safe.
