Let’s get it out there – Sara and Mary are best friends. And that, frankly, is a benefit to their customers. They work as a team – a yin to a yang. As Wikipedia puts it: Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.
Mary, originally from Baldwin, NY (Long Island), studied finance at St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. She moved down to North Carolina in 1998 with her husband and two kids. Her daughter, Jenny graduated from Hough High in 2014 and is attending Appalachian State University with a double major in Dietetics & Marketing. Her son, Trevor is currently a senior at Hough, plays varsity soccer, is active in DECA, and way too busy with college applications.
Sara, originally from Bowie, MD, studied engineering and statistics at University Of Virginia. She moved to North Carolina in 1997 with her husband and daughter, Bailey. While in NC, Sara had two more children, Carter and Griffin. Bailey graduated Hough in 2014 and currently attends Wake Forest University. Musically talented with a beautiful voice, Carter attends Cannon School. Griffin also attends Cannon and keeps himself busy with school sports as well as creating homemade movies.
