Sara has an extensive marketing background, honing her skills by working with some of the biggest brands on earth, including Apple, Xerox, and Priceline. The experience taught Sara to think like an entrepreneur, and when marketing challenges arise, she always looks for solutions outside the box. One example that has proven to benefit clients over again is Sara's staging plan.

Professional Background
Sara wasted no time aligning herself with a best-in-class organization immediately after college. She out-performed 200 applicants to land a job at Apple, where she rose through the ranks to manage customer satisfaction for the education sector. She went on to work for the iconic PR firm Miller Shandwick, working with industry superstars like Frederick Hoar - well known for his collaboration with Steve Jobs as VP of Communication for Apple. A move East prompted work with aspiring developers in Norwalk who wanted to revitalize the area with a vibrant plan for a "SONO" brand. "After the SONO project, I was hooked!" says Sara. "I loved everything about real estate and its impact on building a strong community." Shortly after, as a young mother with a one-year-old in tow, she transitioned to residential real estate and sold 25 homes in her first year. From that point forward, she has consistently been a top producer in Darien and surrounding areas – by winning the trust of hundreds of buyers and sellers.

Education
Sara completed her undergraduate work at Santa Clara University and the University of London, School of Economics. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and minored in business. Afterward, she attended Emerson College in Boston, earning top honors, with a Master of Arts degree in business communications and public relations, with an emphasis in international negotiations.

Personal Life
Born in Puerto Rico, Sara has had the good fortune to experience life in major metropolitan areas, including Boston, Chicago, Honolulu, Seattle, London, Silicon Valley, and Newport Beach, before moving to Darien in 1998. Sara is a proud parent to her adult son Jack Henry and her English crème golden retriever, Noah. Outside of work, Sara loves to travel, sail, do yoga, and ride among other active sports. Sara became a Dame in the Order of Malta in 2020 where she volunteers her time for the poor and sick in the community.
