Sarah was very helpful throughout the entire process. If I had any questions she'd get back to me with updates/answers quickly. She took into account what my boyfriend and I were looking for. Since this was our first time looking for a place to live, she provided advice and found compromises for us.

This year, my girlfriend and I decided it was the right time to move in together at the end of our leases. Which, of course, was the same time the global pandemic hit, and I lost my job and my savings, too. Looking online at apartments was extremely overwhelming with all of this on our minds and having so many caveats to give to agents made our search more difficult (possibly needing a guarantor, not being able to pay high application fees, etc.). Most of the agents that we tried to talk to either said what we needed wasn't possible with our situation or just ghosted us all together.

Not Sarah though. She was very patient with our situation and understanding of what we needed, often finding places that we wouldn't or couldn't have considered normally. With multiple listings, she told us that she had talked to the listing agent and had found a way to bring down the application prices or had negotiated her broker fee down, etc.
Sarah even negotiated the rent of the apartment my girlfriend and I ended up leasing to be low enough so that we could afford parking because of the length of time the apartment had been on the market--something neither my girlfriend nor I would have thought to ask about.

Sarah never made us feel afraid to ask questions about listings and would pursue multiple at a time so that we felt that we could make an informed decision when choosing a place. She also was quick to tell us about new listings if an apartment we pursued didn't work out. She also helped us manage our expectations if it was a place that might not accept our application, as some of the places we looked at were co-ops that could go either way when it came to our applications.

I feel like Sarah was always proactive in the apartment search and was very responsive and communicative. Her FaceTime tours and follow-up emails with pictures and videos made up for the fact that we couldn't tour in person with the restrictions placed on real estate during the pandemic. By the time we got into our apartment, my girlfriend and I had felt like we'd really seen the place and didn't have any surprises when moving in.

I would whole-heartedly recommend Sarah to anyone who's looking for an extremely responsive, proactive, and generally awesome agent!
