Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. My Name is Scott Guyson. I am a Husband, father, son, brother, real estate professional, expert negotiator, contracts specialists, your friend and trusted resource, follower and believer in Jesus Christ =)
I moved to Rancho Cucamonga in 1977 with my family as a child. I have seen a lot of growth and changes through the years. In 1994 I traveled to Mexico and lived on a ranch for a year, where I learned how to speak Spanish, among many other adventures. In 1995 I returned home and started working in the Film and T.V. business in Hollywood. I worked in Hollywood for 16 years before I decided it was time for the next chapter in my professional career. I worked my way up from working at a prop-house for 3 years to working on many popular television shows and major motion pictures as an On-Set Dresser, Asst. Property Master, and Property Master. Ask me who I’ve worked with or what movies I’ve worked on!
In 2011 I decided I had enough of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and I dipped my toes in Real Estate. I completed 6 transactions in my first 8 months (in a down market), and I haven’t looked back since. I love it! I love helping people. I love getting to know families. I love the negotiating, the contracts, and the process, everything about it! I love seeing all the different types of homes and how everyone lives differently (trust me, I see a lot). The favorite part of my business is either when I get to hand over the keys to a buyer or when I’m handing over the net proceeds check for one of my seller clients. My #1 goal is to help as many people as I can and make lifelong connections.
As a full time, full service real estate professional, I work with sellers and buyers in real estate transactions spanning all of the price ranges and property types. Professional and approachable are traits that make me skilled and adept at handling real estate transactions, whether they are complex or creative. As a California native, I have a family history rich in the real estate profession. My uncle was a former owner of a major title insurance company and my mother started her career as an escrow officer then became a real estate broker and is currently in private practice as an attorney for the past 25+ years. Growing up around all these influences helped shape me and I have learned to become an adroit negotiator. I have a work ethic that makes my clients my number one priority, and solutions to any challenge motivate me to work harder for you. I am honest and caring and will take the time to answer any question that may come along during the real estate process. You will feel comfortable and secure in the knowledge that I am working to make your transaction as seamless and smooth as possible.
I am constantly learning, training, and evolving with the real estate market. My team and I have what it takes to get it done. When it comes down to it, that's what really matters!
