After a brief stint in Eugene, where Scott worked for the family business, Lassen Construction, and in Medford, Oregon, the couple decided to raise their family in the scenic mountains of Siskiyou County. With two young boys aged 6 and 5, they are ardent outdoor enthusiasts who relish their picturesque surroundings. The eldest son, Zachary Peter Lassen, is named in tribute to Scott's late father, while the youngest, Jaxon "Bernie" Lassen, honors his wife's grandfather and local ranch legend, Bernie Young of Gazelle CA.
