During his 44 years in the real estate business, Scott has been an owner, Broker of Record and Regional President of a number of successful real estate firms. He brings to the table a wealth of experience in management and a stellar reputation of professionalism in the real estate industry. He has overseen countless transactions and guided agents, buyers, and sellers to successful settlements.
Scott has served on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems (MRIS) from 2006 thru 2013 and currently on the newly formed Bright MLS. He also currently serves on the MRIS Investors Board of Directors. Scott serves on the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® Board of Directors as the chair of the Investment Committee and a current member of the Grievance Committee of GBBR.
Beginning in 2003 thru 2005 Scott served as Secretary, Treasurer and President Elect followed by two consecutive terms in 2006 & 2007 as the President of the Carroll County Association of REALTORS®. He has served on the Maryland Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors as well as numerous other CCAR and MAR committees. He is a graduate of the MAR 2004 Leadership Academy and was the recipient of the Presidents Cup Award from CCAR in 2010.
Scott also serves on the Board of Directors of a family-owned mechanical contracting business based in Baltimore for over 65 years.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Loyola College in Baltimore and currently resides in New Windsor, MD.
