Scott Tuffnell

I am very excited to represent sellers and buyers in one of the most important transactions in their lives. I am committed to providing service beyond your expectations, and strive to make the purchase of your new home , or selling your property a smooth, well-informed process.

I have worked with clients in Contra Costa County (San Ramon, Dublin, Martinez, Hercules, Crockett, Rodeo, Pinole, El Sobrante, San Pablo, El Cerrito and Richmond), Oakland, Monte Rio, Lake County (Clearlake, Lucerne) and Oroville.

In addition to working at Windermere Rowland Realty I am a paralegal at the law firm of Spunaugle & Tuffnell, a Consumer Bankruptcy Law Firm in West Contra Costa County. Yes, the Tuffnell in Spunaugle & Tuffnell is my wife Jenny. We actually work well together helping clients improve their lives. Real Estate was a natural extension of that commitment to service.

I also operated my own business in El Sobrante for ten years before joining my wife and her brother (yeah, a FAMILY business!) in their law practice.

I have been very active in the community since moving here in 2000. As a business owner, I joined the local Chamber of Commerce and served on the board for several years, currently serving as President for 2003. I have also served on the Board at the El Sobrante Boys & Girls Club, and remain active in community activities with both organizations.

When not working with clients to improve their lives, my wife and I enjoy traveling around the state, visiting our daughter and playing with our Boston Terrriers, Misty and Sophie. Jenny has had Boston's since she was a little girl, an I have had a dog all my life as well. We have also fostered dogs for a time. Jenny and I hope to some day be in a position to assist in rescuing abandoned dogs more than one at a time.
