About Sean

Sean Ragen is a passionate real estate professional and self-proclaimed “real estate junkie.” A third-generation lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Sean has a deep-rooted connection to the DMV area and a genuine enthusiasm for its communities. His journey into real estate began early—he discovered his calling while still in high school and pursued it with unwavering focus. After graduating from Christopher Newport University in 2007 with a concentration in Economics, Sean entered the real estate industry just as the Great Recession hit. The challenging market conditions became a proving ground, where he sharpened his skills and committed to always putting others first.
Alongside his business partner Corey Dutko, Sean gained invaluable experience navigating short sales, assisting families through uncertain times, managing REO portfolios for banks, and advising investors on profitable property improvements and resales. This hands-on education—what he calls a “street version PhD in real estate”—continues to benefit his clients today.
Sean’s mission is to help others build wealth through real estate. His approach is both educational and enjoyable, grounded in the belief that informed clients make the best decisions for themselves and their families. With customer service as his top priority, Sean serves a wide range of clients—from first-time homebuyers to seasoned developers—with tailored strategies and a commitment to excellence.
Over the years, Sean and his team have proudly served more than 1,500 families, with 75% of their business coming from repeat and referral clients—a testament to their trusted reputation. On the development and investment side, Sean has represented and advised on over 500 successful projects.
