This year I was determined to purchase my first home after renting for so long. After discussing this with a friend she referred me to Monique. The first time I spoke with her I could tell that she was genuine and had my best interest at heart. She guided me through the entire process. From making sure my credit was high enough to closing on my very first home. She wasn’t just a realtor to me but a friend. From the very first day that we decided to use Shakena as our realtor, we were overjoyed. I remember telling her, this is my house (as I looked through some pictures) & that I didn't want to see any other house. I do believe she wanted me to look at other homes but when I expressed to her that this was my home and I wanted this one...she went to work.
She has been a true, dependable professional throughout the entire process. Even when we had a few hiccups, she was calm and focused on finding an alternative solution. What also amazes me is that she had backup plans for the backup plans. She was well organized and thorough. I believe this is the qualities in her that made this process feel comfortable for us.
I've heard a lot of stories from people that stated, their home buying experience was a nightmare or disaster but I can honestly say, Hands Down....ours was the total opposite. I do contribute this to Shakena's knowledge, professionalism and her determination to get it done and done right.
I will most definitely use her for any future home buying transactions for this family and would recommend her as a top notch Realtor.

Words can't explain how I am pleased with her services. I never thought I would own a home. I still cry at times just to wake up in a home Mrs Pollock suggest that I look into. An home I built. I designed. She listened and knew my story to be able to work hard for me. Even at night we looked for location. She didn't force a home on me just for a sale. She gave me my forever address. She is awesome.
