Shaleen Young

Born on Guam U.S.A; Shaleen grew up in the Washington D.C- Maryland Metropolitan area where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland.

Shaleen has a strong background in Real Estate Finance; as a Senior Loan Officer for one of the largest portfolio lenders in nation, over a period of 5 years, Shaleen has worked with just about every financial dynamic. Shaleen later went on to work with a great residential home builder where she gained a wealth of residential land sales, construction, vendor and pipeline management knowledge and now is the Team Owner for Young Realty and Associates and Director of Commercial Real Estate for Keller Williams Realty University City.

The combination of Shaleen’s experience allows her to have a unique understanding for her client’s questions and concerns. Coming from a military family and later serving proudly herself; Shaleen understands the importance of family, integrity, and efficiency. It has allowed her to develop a strong understanding for relocation and how it impacts the needs of professionals and families alike. Shaleen’s passion for Real Estate coupled with her desire to make the relocation transition seamless has developed a team of experts to assist in a one-stop shop effort. Shaleen strives to ensure the very best experience for her clients and is committed to excellence and education.

She is passionate about many things but her family is foremost. When Shaleen is not with a client, she is hanging out with her kiddos or donating time through her philanthropic efforts to raise awareness for Children with Autism. These efforts are motivated by Shaleen’s oldest son who is also a Child with Autism. Shaleen is a hard worker, patient in nature and strives for accuracy and efficiency in all she does, and she will do the same for you!
