Shane was born and raised in Miami, Florida but has lived in the Birmingham area since 2014. After graduating salutatorian of his high school class, he attended Auburn University and graduated Cum Laude in 2014 with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a minor in Political Science. While at Auburn University, Shane also performed contract work for the United States Department of Defense, and completed an internship with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). In addition to his real estate career, Shane also works for a local law enforcement agency as a supervisor over community outreach, hiring, and records. He is a former Crisis and Hostage Negotiator with specialized training from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Shane blends his law enforcement experience and training in communication with the real estate market and contract negotiation to find his clients the best deal for their situation. For over 5 years, he patrolled the North Shelby, Indian Springs, and Chelsea communities and had the privilege of intimately learning these areas and getting to know the people there. After owning and operating a landscaping company for 7 years alongside his law enforcement career, Shane began pursuing his new passion for Real Estate, and is devoted to helping people find their dream home in any market.
Shane is married to Brittney Plyler, who is an attorney in the local community. They are both members of the Church of the Highlands in the Greystone campus, and are fully invested in supporting the local community.
Outside of real estate, Shane enjoys hiking, mountain biking, golf, and world-traveling with his wife. They hope to plant deep roots and raise a family in the Birmingham community.
