About Shannon

Shannon Heaven was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. She later attended college at the North Dakota State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and minored in Psychology. She later moved to Wasilla, Alaska where she ran an Activity Therapy Treatment Program for emotionally disabled teenagers. While living in Alaska she met and married her husband Will, who is originally from New Zealand. They had their only child, Zion, a handsome young boy, and moved to Hawaii 6 weeks later. Shannon and her family have now been in Hawaii for over 22 years.

Shannon began selling real estate 20 years ago and has loved every minute of it. If you ask her, she will say her favorite part of the business is getting the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. She states that she has made many lifelong friendships with her clients and their families.

Shannon has earned several designations and continues to strive to achieve additional education credits. She is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), which was a yearlong process. Her CRS designation or Certified Residential Specialist Designation is what she is the proudest of. The CRS Designation is the highest professional designation awarded to REALTORS® in the residential sales field. Fewer than 4 percent of all REALTORS® hold the CRS Designation. In 2014 Shannon was fortunate to be able to serve as the State President for our Hawaii Aloha CRS Chapter. Under her presidency the chapter won the prestigious National Large Chapter of the Year Award!

Shannon has chaired committees with the Hawaii CRS organization on a local level to help bring awareness of the importance of using an educated CRS REALTORS® in your real estate dealings. She is the former Co-chair of the “Chapter with a Heart” committee. In 2009 the committee held a concert at Aloha Tower to raise money for the Shriners Children’s Hospitals, which serves the children of the South Pacific. The Chapter raised a record setting $21,000.00. Shannon was also one of ten agents chosen to attend the Hawaii Association of REALTORS® inaugural Leadership Academy.
Shannon served as the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® President in 2021 and during her time there did a Tech for Teachers Campaign that helped raise money to provide tech products to assist teachers in the classroom on Oahu and Molokai during the height of the pandemic. She also launched the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award. This award will be a yearly award which brings recognition to REALTORS® making outstanding contributions in our community.

Shannon believes in giving the highest customer service and she sees her clients as her clients for life. She enjoys seeing families reach their goals of home ownership as well as closing chapters in their life and moving on to the next opportunity.
