About Sheila

I am a licensed realtor with Maine Real Estate Experts serving the state of Maine. My name is Sheila Helmuth and I married my high school sweetheart, Casey Helmuth, in 1994 and we raised three children together. Our boys are grown and out of the house. We live in Steep Falls, Maine, with our youngest child, Allison and our German Shepherd, Remington.

As far as hobbies, I do love to be outdoors whether it is canoeing, just going for a walk or doing landscaping work. I like to try new recipes and I also do some photography. I read daily, usually in the evenings but also in between appointments on my schedule.

Serving families and helping them achieve their dreams or work through life's many transitions is hard but rewarding work. I have worn many hats which have given me experience and skills that led me to where I am today. As a young adult I worked as a medical transcriptionist (for 11 years). This helped me develop editing skills and fine tuned attention to detail. Since then, I have been focused on family related fields of work and I wouldn't trade the experiences I have had for anything. I was a program director for a state licensed childcare center which was licensed for 50 children (which means I was a teacher to our staff of 17 employees, teacher to our children and families, counselor to our staff and families, fund raiser organizer, project manager as well as an administrator!). I also served as a pastor's wife for 9 years and those hats are too numerous to start listing but this was also a very rewarding time of my life. Currently, I am serving my community and surrounding area by helping people with their real estate needs.
