Shelby Gillis

Shelby Gillis is an Associate Advisor with NAI Coastal. Prior to pursuing a career in commercial real estate, Gillis spent years working in business operations and retail management for a tourism company located in the Caribbean. In addition to retail leadership, Gillis acquired 100-ton licensure with the United States Coast Guard and has experience working as a captain and operations manager for multi-vessel businesses.

Native to the Delmarva Peninsula, Gillis was raised in Ocean City, Maryland and has deep roots in the real estate brokerage and development industries. In addition to her role with NAI Coastal, Gillis serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Gillis Gilkerson, a regional leader in commercial construction and development. Her dual role allows for advanced collaboration and enhanced marketing efforts, a combination that serves to benefit the Eastern Shore’s real estate users and investors.

A graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, Gillis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Documentary Production and has been recognized for a number of academic achievements. In her free time, Gillis enjoys traveling, spending time on the water and building her business as a Certified Health and Nutrition Coach.
