Moreover, she brings years of business and investment expertise to her real estate transactions, helping her clients understand how a purchase or sale will affect the entirety of their investment portfolio.
Equally important, as a third-generation REALTOR®, Shelby has seen firsthand what drives long-term property value, how to meet client needs, and the nuances of negotiating and securing a successful transaction. Her grandmother owned a successful Chicago real estate firm for over 50 years and her aunt served as the second female president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®.

Whether clients are transitioning from renting to owning, city to suburbs, Shelby works diligently to meet their needs. She offers a voice of reason in what is often an emotional transaction. Before joining real estate, Shelby worked with several startups, most recently serving as a chief operating officer of Taste Savant, the anti-Yelp restaurant discovery website and app. She started her career as an investment banking analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York. She graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a B.S. in Finance. Shelby currently resides in Wilmette with her husband and two daughters, Maude and Nell. She spends her free time chasing her kids at Gillson Beach or checking out the latest restaurants in the city.
