About Sherry

Some details about me:
I grew up in a military family, so I experienced moving more often than most people. We lived in five states and in two countries overseas. As an adult, I have lived in downtown Washington, D.C. and have now been a Maryland resident for more than 35 years. When I recently married, we moved twice in 18 months as we combined households. I realized that Realtors® should experience buying and selling a home themselves every so often to remind us of all everyone goes through in the process. (My husband says he is never moving again, however!)

I love helping buyers find a home that they love that will love them back. And I have a special feeling for helping Veteran buyers and sellers from living as a military dependent and spouse.

My previous career was a retail buyer for Hecht's, then a May Company store and now part of Macy's. As a buyer, I learned finance, business planning, marketing, mechandising: all things that I use in helping sellers figure out how to maximize the return on their investment in their home when they sell.

I've had 29 years of experience as a Realtor in every kind of market. I believe in education: learning formally in classes and online and learning from my peers. I use my experience and knowledge to help my clients and I share that experience and knowledge with other agents.
