Originally from Illinois, Shirley has lived and worked in Northwest Indiana since 1997 with her husband, two kids and two dogs.

After a very bad home buying experience in 1989, Shirley knew there had to be a better way. Several years (and two kids) later, she decided to give real estate a try. She started her real estate career in 1994 and was named "Rookie of the Year". Shirley has not looked back. This is not a job for her. This is her passion – Shirley loves what she dos and cannot imagine doing anything else. Seeing the look of excitement on someone's face when they walk into "THE" house or telling a Seller that Shirley has an offer for them makes this a very fulfilling career for her.

Besides GNIAR, NAR and the MLS, Shirley has co-chaired Century-21 McCarthy's annual Easter Seals Candlelight Bowl since 2005 and volunteer his time to plan, organize and run various events. She has a Century-21 Quality Service Award winning Broker.
