As the daughter of George and Vera, I had big shoes to fill—but even better role models to learn from and now lead. After graduating from Southeast High School, I began my real estate career on July 28, 1986, earning my license and getting right to work. I later completed my bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from Kent State University, all while building my business alongside my parents. For 25 years, we worked side-by-side serving clients throughout Portage, Stark, Summit, and surrounding counties.
In 2008, I earned my broker’s license and proudly took over the family business in 2011. My husband, Mark, and I have been happily married since 1989, and we are blessed with eight wonderful children (Four married) and five grandchildren. We call Marlboro, Ohio home.
Today, I continue to serve buyers and sellers full-time across Portage, Stark, and Summit counties as the broker of Tarter Realty, specializing in residential and farm/rural properties. With 40 years of experience, combined with a strong background in finance and today’s loan programs, I’m able to guide my clients with confidence, helping them make informed decisions and achieve their real estate goals.
