earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from the illustrious Winston-Salem
State University and later obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Trinity
University. Initially licensed as a Salesperson in 2006, Simone served as a pre-licensure
instructor for two years, achieving high student success rates with course completion and
licensure exams. She has been licensed in Washington, DC, since 2019 and earned her
Associate Broker’s Degree from Plan 2 Pass in 2022. With over 25 years of service in the public
education systems of North Carolina and Maryland, Simone has honed her skills in leadership,
communication, and advocacy, which she seamlessly integrates into her real estate practice. Her leadership skills are driven by her love for learning. As a member of The Maryland Leadership Academy, Class of 2026, she is purposed and passionate about leading in the industry.
Beyond her work with clients, Simone is committed to empowering the next generation through
education and opportunity. As Founder & CEO of Career Ready Academy, she leads a
forward-thinking curriculum designed to introduce high school scholars to real estate as a viable
career pathway. The program expands exposure to the full real estate ecosystem—from sales to
construction—highlighting the diverse network of professionals and vendors who support both
residential and commercial real estate. Through hands-on learning, industry partnerships, and
practical application, Career Ready Academy equips students with the knowledge, confidence,
and skills to pursue careers in real estate, entrepreneurship, and beyond as valued members of the community.
She is a member with Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, and contributes to her
association as an active member of the Grievance Committee and Public Policy Committee for
Washington, DC. Her dedication to fostering financial independence and sustainable success

Simone is Mark's wife of 14 years and is honored to work alongside her daughter, who serves
as her assistant. She is a member of Zion Church-Greenbelt Campus, where she serves on the
SET Connections team and enjoys daily Pickleball workouts at FBCG's Community Life Center.
