I spend most of my time helping clients answer three questions: Where should I live? What should I buy? What’s the smartest way to sell?
For people relocating to the Main Line, those first two can be surprisingly complicated. I know because I moved my own family here.
The Main Line isn’t one homogeneous place. Ardmore feels different from Wayne. Narberth is not the same as Gladwyne. And a house that looks perfectly located on a map might feel completely different once you’re facing it from the street.
I help relocation buyers learn the Main Line real estate market before they make a very expensive decision. We talk about the towns, housing stock, home values, taxes, commutes, walkability, market dynamics, and the trade-offs that come with different locations and price points. Then, when it’s time to buy a home, we have a strategy for that too.
On the selling side, I’m a listing strategist. Selling a home well involves a lot more than hiring a photographer, listing it on the MLS, and waiting for offers. I help homeowners figure out what to fix, how much to spend (and where), when to sell, how to price, and how to position and market their home so buyers pay attention. And yes, I have opinions about all of those things. But my clients make the decisions.
Before real estate, I spent years in research and consulting and earned a PhD in the social sciences, which helps explain why I’m a bit of a data nerd. I pay attention to what the market is actually doing, not what we wish it were doing, and use that information to help my clients make well-informed, confident decisions.
I work with buyers and sellers throughout the Main Line and Philadelphia suburbs, with a particular focus on Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford, and Tredyffrin-Easttown, including communities such as Ardmore, Bala Cynwyd, Berwyn, Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Haverford, Merion Station, Narberth, Villanova, Wayne, and Wynnewood.
