This is Jeffrey and normally, I do not write reviews because I have very high standard on customer service. However, my experience with Sofia was so amazing that I had to write a google review!

My parents live in Rowland Height, CA for over 30 years. In March 2025, they decided to sell the house to move out of state with me. Since I would travel outside of country for a period of time, I need my parent to move in with me in May. In other words, we need to sell the house within two month.

Sofia took the challenge as our real estate agent to sell my parents' house. In the beginning, she recommend my parents to fix up the house as a strategy to sell the house faster. Sofia helped my parents tremendously by introducing them a contractor to fix up the house. In this process, Sofia went outside of her job scope that she spend a lot of time working with contractor to make decisions on house remodeling (color of the wall, type of floor, tiles etc). She event went with my parents & contractor to Lowe's to purchase the parts. In addition, Sofia was constantly communicating with my parents & me on status (we are talking about several calls a day even a night time). As we were working on fixing up the house, Sofia was also seeking selling opportunity through introducing our house to her clients.

The impossible thing happened! On April 20, my parents made the first installation to the contractor to fix up the house and drove their car to my state. While they were driving on the road, my parents received a phone call from Sofia that she found a buy willing to purchase our house! Not only the buyer would buy our house at our asking price, the buyer would pay the house in cash!

I do not know how Sofia has made the magic happen but this is the most amazing house transaction that I have ever encountered. My parents end up not fixing up the house, not listing the house in market, and sold the house in full asking price. By the way, the transaction for selling the house was closed within a week.

That is my story and till now days, it is still hard for me to believe that my parents sold their house within a week. However, one thing I am certain is that I have met one of the most amazing real estate agent: Sofia Chang. Her marketing strategies, negotiation skills, and attention to detail made the process easy. Once again, thank you Sofia for being our listing agent and our friend. I hope we will meet in a soon future!

Sofia Chang was introduced through a friend. Our first encounter was at a newly listed house in Chino Hills, which had a tenant with lots of belongings. we realized that buying a house with a tenant might not be as simple as imagined. Following Sofia’s advice, we decided to explore other options.

After further discussion that day, Sofia better understood our needs in terms of work location and the schooling requirements for our young daughter. Initially, we wanted to focus on properties near Chino Hills, but after Sofia analyzed each city, she suggested we consider Hacienda Heights since it was closer to our workplace. Although we were not familiar with Hacienda Heights, the schools appeared to be excellent, so we took Sofia’s advice and started looking at houses there. There weren’t many single-story homes available, and several times we almost settled for a two-story house, but Sofia constantly reminded us of our original intent and needs, hoping we wouldn’t settle since a single-story home would mean no need to move again in the future.

Eventually, a suitable single-story home came on the market. After viewing it twice and still loving it, Sofia drafted a very proactive contract, making the seller choose our offer over a higher one. Once we opened escrow, Sofia continuously reminded us to conduct all necessary inspections and to find an insurance company, especially important in a wildfire area. She also reminded us about the importance of insurance, which was relatively expensive, but after getting the insurance quotes, we found them acceptable. Later, she also took us to the county office to inquire about the potential for future additions and contact details.

Thank you, Sofia, for your help, patience, and professionalism. Although we have lived in LA for over a year, within just three weeks of meeting Sofia, we managed to achieve our goal. We were searching for Realtors in the Rowland Heights area as we were in the market to have our home listed. We were very reluctant and still suffered from PTSD from the past realtor we tried to use back in 2011. We had seen all the wonderful reviews and decided to reach out to her. She was very prompt in her response.

Sofia set up an appointment to meet with us and made us feel so at ease that we signed on with her on the spot!! She is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and it has been a pleasure working with her. She gave us her honest opinion and we trusted her. She listened to our concerns and implemented a plan. As you know trust is a very hard thing to earn and keep. During the entire process it was a whirlwind. We received multiple offers almost the same day we had the appointment only viewing. Soon a bidding war had ensued and because of her expert advice we listed the home at the right price which drove the interest up. What we sold the home for exceeded our expectations. She had our best intentions in mind and was there to protect our best interest. We accepted the offer (even as the bidding continued) as we did not want to prolong the process (it was a very dizzying experience seeing the bids back and forth between the buyers). Escrow closed in 17days and less than a month later the house is .... SOLD!!

My wife Denise and I worked with Sofia on selling a tenant occupied home in Hacienda Heights. It was a very challenge situation but Sofia worked so hard for both parties (the buyer and us/seller). She spent alot of time with the tenant and assisted them in finding another home to rent. She was GREAT and worked very hard each day for months. We purchased an investment property in Hacienda Heights 6 years ago, Sofia was our representative and helped us a lot to find the property we liked. Sofia Chang was a wonderful agent to work with for a house I didn’t think would sell at a price we wanted. I’m a homeowner who is selling a house in Walnut for the first time after owning the house for 30 years. I had the house up for sale earlier last August but because of the age of the house as well as the over-all looks and conditions the few offers did not fall through. I didn’t think the house would sell so I did not renew listing after 90 days. After that, a few agents approached me to offer re-listing. Sofia was one such agent. Because I was busy with work so I wasn’t able to spend too much time getting to know each agent well but in the short time that we communicated I can sense that she was genuine and confident that she can do the job and would be a great representative to sell the house so I had the house re-listed through her.

Upon accepting the task, Sofia immediately started proposing and worked on making the house more appealing by staging both the exterior and interior, as well as taking great photos for the listing that enhanced the value of the house. Almost immediately, offers started to come in at a faster rate than the first time. Sofia was quick and diligent in dealing with buyers and buyers agents to make higher offers possible. One tough condition which made me think that the house would not sell was me and my family decided to sell the house as-is because we still lived there and had no intention of moving unless there is a serious buyer who would love the house as much as we did, despite the age of the house. Sofia did a lot of work noting the conditions of the house and was able to communicate and negotiate with the buyer and buyer’s agent well throughout the process to make everything effortless for me as the seller. I can assure you that selling a house as-is at a price you want is no easy task. But Sofia did it.

Another thing that stood out to me is that she genuinely cared about the entire process even to the tiniest details and not just treat it as a just a job is that she also offered tips and advises on considerations on tax benefits which first time sellers don’t often think about. This level of dedication and devotion to her profession is very rare and is why I am so very glad she was the one who sold my house which I did not think was going to sell. After selling my house I don’t think there is a house out there that Sofia can’t sell!

My family and I were first-time homebuyers in the year 2021. It was a crazy year for the real estate market that the property selling prices rose to a record high, especially in California. Lots of house buyers but few houses were for sale, and because of that, we spent half of the year searching and touring tons of houses but still had no chance to own a home. Our first agent was kind and willing to help us. However, due to a lack of negotiation skills with the sellers, none of the offers that we submitted were accepted. Until one day we met Sofia.

In our first encounter with Sofia, she was the seller's agent conducting an open house that we visited on the day. After a short conversation, my mother already could tell how professional Sofia was, and she was right. We then contacted Sofia another day to explain what we were looking for and need. After a couple of house tours with Sofia, she had fully aware of our expectations of the new home. She then found the house that we had been looking for for a long time.

One day Sofia sent me information about a house on the market that she thought we might be interested in. The house had some good features. It was in a good and quiet location, a good school district, a fair price for the large space, and has the convenience to commute and shop. After the house tour, we decided to make an offer for this property. Then it was the time that Sofia really started showing her profession. She visited the property again to look into the detail of each corner of the house and then proactively and effectively communicated with the seller's agent to try to gain more information about the house as possible. After that, she provided her analysis of the house and suggestion of writing an offer to us. A couple of days later, we received her congrats message. Our offer was accepted. She led us and made our dream come true. It just all happened within three weeks since we met Sofia.

After the offer was accepted, Sofia guided us step by step to the close of the escrow. Due to the seller's request, we had 30 days remaining before the close of escrow. We were very lucky to introduced to meet with Sofia before buying our first ever house. With a day of discussion, Sofia understood our budget and concerns, and willing to be our agent to start our journey searching our first house purchase.

During the house hunting, Sofia not only provided us daily house suggestions, but also went in person for each open house for those houses we have interest. The house hunting took over 2 to 3 months since it was real estate "hot season". Sofia was patience and surprising honest, unlike those real estate agent who just want to hurry you to close the deal, as well as provide us extreme useful tips.

After months of house hunting and endless amount of house visits, we almost gave up since we even lost many offers. However, Sofia gave us a lot of prep talks and let us know that the every house has it perfect matched owner, and it will meant to be for us when the time comes. Yeah, she is also a great life consular too.

I met Sofia Chang at an open house that she hosted for the listing agent. The house inside required TLC to meet my needs and expectation. The shape of the back yard is irregular, and I am not the fan of that. With Sofia's detailed introduction and explanation of all advantages and disadvantages of buying the house, and how potential to buy a single story house like that, I decided to go with her suggestion and had her be my agent. When we first met Sophia, she explained that her job is more service than sales. She proved that time and again with her thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market. I was glad to meet Sofia in one of her open houses in Eastvale. The house was really nice and attracted lots of visitors. She is very nice and friendly to host all visitors with her professional real estate knowledge and experience.
