Sommer is a Union County native with a passion for serving others. Sommer and her husband Matt are parents to three daughters and live on a family farm in Marshville, NC. Sommer’s love of customer service was developed while servicing most of Union County as Assistant Branch Manager at American Community Bank.

As a stay-at-home mom she continued to stay active in the community while homeschooling her kids.
