Texas raised with traditional values, growing up in the South taught me the importance of family, hospitality, diversity, and a strong work ethic. Those values have carried me through the most cherished years of my life being married to a 20-year veteran of the United States Army. The past 20 years, as a military wife, I have had the opportunity to travel and live abroad as well as residing in several areas within the United States. During those years, I worked in the dental field. After having our son in 2010, I was a stay at home mom while pursuing my degree. After my husband retired from the Army in 2015 our family decided to establish ourselves in Lake Charles, Louisiana, my husband’s hometown. After 5 years in Lake Charles my husband was offered a great opportunity and took a position with the U.S. Forest Service in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our journey, thus far, have included many moves. As a result, I gained a greater knowledge of the housing industry which gave me an interest in passing my experience on to others.
