Stana Gerlach

Having spent twenty years in residential property management here in the Twin Cities, I decided to take my knowledge of real estate and tailor it to the personal needs of individual homeowners.

I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. I met my husband John, who is from Iowa, on a college campus in Prague while he was there on a student exchange program run by the U of M. After four years of a long-distance relationship, we got married and moved to Michigan and then to Minnesota. We have called the Twin Cities our home ever since. I can say that I understand what it means to up root and move to a new location, in my case to a new continent. Relocation can be difficult and stressful but a partnership with a realtor who cares and goes above and beyond can make for a smoother transition. I lived it, I care and I will do my absolute best for you.

Our family of three - myself, husband and son Philip - love to travel. Our ultimate goal is to visit all seven continents - so far four continents down and three more to go (Africa, South America & Antarctica). In our mid-thirties we set out on a trip around the world, kept going west chasing summer weather, backpacking for eleven months on a shoestring budget. We quit our jobs, rented our house and left. Needless to say, our parents did not understand our decision. Here at home, I also like to stay connected to my Czech heritage & volunteer with the local Czech & Slovak Center (Sokol MN). I also enjoy volunteering at my son's school. We like our Minnesota community.

I am dependable, practical and realistic. I am responsible and loyal to my family, friends and clients. Open communication is a foundation to any relationship.
