About Stephanie

Stephanie Blackburn’s clients are some of the happiest and most knowledgeable home buyers and sellers in Charlotte today. That’s because her first priority when meeting a new client is to find out how she can best help them. While all of the skills and knowledge employed in handling a real estate transaction are vital to success, Stephanie believes the first step in helping either a buyer or a seller is to understand their wants, needs, and goals. That requires listening, asking the right questions, and of course providing clear and honest answers to their question, in other words, effective communication.

Next she gives them the information they need to move through the process of buying or selling a home with the least possible stress or uncertainty. In her opinion, buying a house should be fun and selling a house should be a time of looking forward to life's next adventure. When clients know what to expect at each step along the way, it makes the entire transaction more enjoyable for everyone. Stephanie embraces technology and will collaborate with clients in “their way.” From a virtual presentation for those too busy to take time off from work, to a conversation over a meal, Stephanie will work with her clients in the way that works best for them.

Stephanie appreciates the opportunity to assist those who are new to the Charlotte area as well as those who are just looking for something new in their current neighborhood. As a former Social Worker, she has the knowledge and resources to share everything from neighborhood and school information to details about city services and capital improvement projects on the horizon. Because she's an avid researcher, that knowledge extends beyond Charlotte to the entire southern Piedmont area.

Stephanie graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Florida and North Carolina. Stephanie has worked over ten years in various non-profit companies throughout these two states. The wife of a combat veteran, she worked for the VA Medical Center and enjoys meeting the challenges faced by military and former military families.

Today Stephanie makes a difference and gains personal satisfaction from helping her clients reach their dreams of home ownership or of selling and moving on to life's next adventure.
