About Stephen

As a second-generation real estate professional to his father in the 1980s, Stephen Lewis was no stranger to the real estate market. In February 2010, he passed his real estate exam and was determined to dive into the business. However, Stephen took an unconventional approach by working as Sr. Mortgage Underwriter for JP Morgan Chase the following month. This turn of events allowed him to see people as more than just a transaction but an opportunity for change and hope. He started a nonprofit organization in 2014, where his talent was used to better educate future buyers on successfully qualifying for a home based on mortgage underwriting guidelines.

In 2015 he got back into the real estate business and had no desire to look backward. Stephen is the Co-Founder of Ink Realty, a full-service real estate brokerage.

Stephen was a 2017 "Millennial to Watch" in Dallas, recognized for his talent in growing a successful brokerage. He’s also been featured as a guest speaker on several radio shows and Dallas real estate panels. He is currently the Vice President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokerage, which focuses on creating democracy in housing.

Stephen is a Christian, husband, and father to a son. One thing he has learned over the years is how important it is to listen and put others' needs above yours. Real estate is more than just a single transaction but a life-changing moment in time that you cannot get back.
