About Steve

Steve Grant founded Steve Grant Real Estate in 1981 after recognizing a deep demand from clients for a real estate firm that constantly works to innovate and provide modern services to the industry. Steve has a degree in Business/Real Estate from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed Texas general appraiser, as well as a licensed Texas real estate broker. As an Athens native, Steve went to Athens High School and began his higher education at Henderson Community College. After graduating from the University of Texas, Steve quickly got involved in Texas' real estate industry and the community. Steve is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors - Appraisal Section, the Henderson County Board of Realtors, and the Henderson County Multiple Listing Service as well as Palestine, Smith County, Greater Dallas, Austin, and Waco. Steve is a trustee of the Cain Center Endowment Trust, the president of the Trinity Valley Community College Endowment Board and the Athens Cemetery Association, and a board member of Trinity Valley Community College.
