PRESENT POSITION: President and Director of Consultations. Mr. Letman performs appraisals and directs the real estate valuation and property tax consultation services of CONSULTUS Asset Valuation, Inc.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Mr. Letman's previous positions include Vice President and Senior Consultant for a national property tax consulting firm. He was employed by the City and County of Denver where he held positions of Coordinator of Property Acquisition in the Land Office and Real Property Appraiser in the Assessment Division.
PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES: Mr. Letman is designated a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) by The Counselors of Real Estate. He is an MAI member of the Appraisal Institute (Certificate No. 9022). He earned the SRPA designation from the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, which merged with the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers in 1991 to form the Appraisal Institute. He is a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), and a General Accredited Appraiser (GAA No. 508) of the National Association of Realtors. He is a member of the International Right-of-Way Association and The Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
LICENSES: Mr. Letman has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Colorado since 1979. He is a State Certified General Appraiser in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah.
EDUCATION: Mr. Letman graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has completed more than 700 classroom hours of education in real estate appraisal presented by the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, the International Right of-Way Association and the International Association of Assessing Officers.
