About Steven

Real Estate is more than the size of lot, number of bedrooms and main base square feet. It is about having a personal space to live, work and play. He uses his years of experience and wealth of resources to work for you in all your current and future needs. He is a Cedar Valley native who chose to return to the Midwest after residing in both Georgia and Colorado. He currently lives on a small horse acreage with his wife Beth. Their three children still call the Cedar Valley home working in Nursing, construction, and teaching. Their passions are anything which brings them in touch with people and the outdoors. From horseback riding to ultra-marathons and gardening, they relish being part of nature. He is a certified Firefighter with New Hartford Fire Rescue and an active supporter of CVAST (Cedar Valley Association for Soft Trails) along with supporting many other local causes. He is a fervent advocate for home ownership and community involvement. He is blessed to have a career which allows him to express that and help others find their "Perfect Place"! He was co-owner of RE/MAX Cedar Valley, RE/MAX CV Waverly, and RE/MAX CV Commercial until 2011 when their firm was merged into RE/MAX Home Group. He served in various roles with the Iowa Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors from 2002-2009. He has been licensed in Iowa since 1999 and involved with Real Estate since 1993.

Steve is the man. His vast knowledge and experience in real estate are unmatched. For me, as a first-time home buyer, his willingness to check out as many homes as I wanted and help me decide what I was really looking for was very important. Steve is very patient and transparent. He is very responsive to any texts, emails, general inquiries, and was excellent in the negotiation process as well. I can't think of a single thing that has been less than excellent in my experiences working with Steve.
