He began his career with Seaward Development, where he played a pivotal role in developing over $250 million worth of high-end residential properties. During his time with the company, Steven led the expansion of the single-family home division, overseeing land acquisitions, marketing strategy, customer success, and sales. His experience working directly on development projects from the ground up has given him a detailed understanding of construction quality, zoning regulations, and the long-term value potential of Sarasota’s most desirable neighborhoods.
Becoming a Realtor® was a natural extension of Steven’s work in luxury development. Already immersed in the industry, he now specializes in high-end properties on the Barrier Islands, in Downtown Sarasota, and West of Trail. Originally from England, Steven moved to the U.S. at age 18 to play college soccer. After graduating, he relocated to Sarasota in 2017 with his wife, Bethany, a Physician Assistant. They now live in the walkable Gillespie Park neighborhood, just minutes from Downtown, Marina Jack, The Bay Park, and Sarasota’s barrier islands—an area Steven appreciates for its proximity to the water and vibrant local lifestyle.
Outside of real estate, Steven enjoys golfing and is a member at Sara Bay Golf Club, where he maintains a 2 handicap. He also enjoys walking his dog, Luda, spending time with family and friends, and traveling—especially returning to England each year to visit his mother, stepfather, and extended family. He frequently attends local charitable events and is especially passionate about causes related to children’s hunger, education, and wellness, inspired by the strong, supportive upbringing he received.
