Originally from Islamorada in the Florida Keys, Steven A. Saumell currently resides in New York, New York. He has been practicing real estate since 2015 and his client list is diverse - having worked with top athletes, business owners, and some of the most prestigious families worldwide. Steven has worked alongside some of the top-ranked Realtors in the nation as well as top brokerages.
Steven comes from a real estate and mortgage industry family. His mother, Mary D. Pecorino, is the owner of Mortgage Processing Center, Inc., since 1996. A full-service outsourcing center providing services to banks, brokers, and lenders. In addition, she is a licensed Realtor. His father, Manuel Saumell, is a real estate investor and during Steven's childhood years was a residential property appraiser. As a result, Steven is familiar with the different entities involved in the real estate process from the ground up which enables a smoother transaction for his clients.
Having worked in Marathon, Florida for American Caribbean Real Estate, exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, Steven learned the trade of property management while executing short term rentals. During peak rental season, he assisted in managing/renting over 100 luxury waterfront vacation rentals while working under the #1 rental agent in the Florida Keys, Leslie Christensen.
Steven believes in teamwork to succeed, knowing that strong forces working together only brings positive outcomes and pleasant experiences. Being an avid equestrian show jumper, Steven is constantly practicing his teamwork in the ring with his equine counterparts. "When riding, you have to know how to communicate with the horse to accomplish the task at hand. It is all about timing and being patient. If you become flustered while riding, you will never get the outcome you are looking for and this can be applied to the real estate profession to the fullest degree."
