About Steven

Steven Smith, REALTOR®, graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Forest Resource Management in 1993 and became a licensed forester in the states of South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia in 1995. Since graduating, Steven has worked in various capacities within the timber industry that include timber procurement, land management and manufacturing. In 2009, he started and is President of Cross Creek Timber, LLC, a full service timber procurement and forestry services company that purchases standing timber and helps landowners throughout the upstate of South Carolina manage their property. To further assist landowners wanting to sell their property and those interested in purchasing land, Steven became a licensed real estate professional in 2009 and opened Cross Creek Realty, LLC in 2013 where serves as the President. The company specializes in timber tracts, farms, recreational properties and acreage. Steven’s extensive knowledge of the timber industry, timber values and land management along with his years of field experience has proven to be invaluable in real estate negotiations and transactions. Steven and his wife have three children and live near downtown Greenville. The family is a member of Grace Church Downtown. When not working, Steven enjoys bear hunting, off shore fishing, and spending time with his family on their farm near Travelers Rest, which they will soon call home!
