About Steven

Steve is a native of Ohio and has lived in Florida since the mid-1970s. As a senior in high school, he was elected President of the Student Council. He went to Otterbein College majoring in education, playing football on a grant in aid.

After moving to Florida Steve started in real estate, selling business franchises, eventually becoming a Broker/Vice President for a major multiple office company in Jacksonville. As a REALTOR ® he chaired multiple committees for the local associations and is a longtime supporter of RPAC. Steve earned a prestigious CRB Designation (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) from the Real Estate Business Institute affiliated with the National Association of Realtors.

Early in his real estate career, Steve obtained an auctioneer license, mortgage license, and a Florida real estate instructor license, which he still maintains. As a top instructor, Steve has helped launch the careers of thousands of real estate professionals and is still involved in the development and training of others through Great Expectations Realty. Over the decades Steve has functioned as a consultant and trainer for major real estate franchises, developers and lenders.

Steve is married to his lovely wife Beth (who has all the smarts) and they reside in St. Augustine. Together they have 4 adult children and a small herd of grandchildren. They enjoy traveling together and attending music and theatre events. Steve and his wife participate in multiple charity auctions each year. Steve is also a longtime member of SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) and SUVCW (Sons of Union Veterans Civil War).
