Sue is a true real estate professional that can handle any type of property or need in the Upper Peninsula. I found her to deeply understand the Marquette market and other areas of the U.P. In addition, she understood the legal issues, lending requirements and lenders, off-grid home financing and local government requirements, and so much more. I tend to not find most realtors to be truly knowledgeable, but Sue was different. I highly recommend Sue Petschke.

My wife and I purchased a cabin in Iron River, MI. Due to this cabin being off grid, the purchase process was a lot harder than I could have ever imagined. She was our friend first, and when we found our dream camp, we immediately gave her a call.

From then on she made the buying process so easy! We were able to get exactly what we wanted, and all we had to do was exchange a text or two, then go about our day while she did all the work!

As a first time home buyer Sue has been amazing to work with. She is very quick to respond and takes the time to answer all of our question throughly. She has been a great advocate and made sure our best interests were represented during the buying process. My husband and I are moving from out of state and had limited times when we were available to travel to look at homes. We recently purchased camp property and we met Sue as she was the seller’s realtor. She was clearly on top of everything from the beginning and genuinely listened to concerns I had about the process and purchase. She went out of her way to check in with me about everything so there was no questions. We were happy she became our realtor too. Sue is also a member of the Becoming an Outdoors Women committee with the DNR which we learned after (when she followed up to see how hunting was going :)). We have worked with Suzanne on multiple occasions. During the sale of our first home, she took the time to come to our home before showings to stage the home in a way that would appeal to the potential buyers. When our home sold and the buyers wanted to close in 30 days we needed to find a new home quickly. Suzanne worked hard to help us find the perfect home. She was so intouch with our wants and needs that she new exactly what to look for and we were in our new home in our needed time frame.
In addition to this, we have been looking for waterfront property for years. Even though Suzanne new that the likelihood of us purchasing something was slim, she still took the time to show us many properties. She would contact us if something came on the market that fit our requirements. Last year we finally got our waterfront home. As always Suzanne was top notch to work with! If you are looking for a realtor that will put you before anything else, Suzanne is it!!
