Originally from Ohio, Susan spent a lot of time in Tucson when she was young. Her grandparents were snowbirds back in the 60's and they visited quite often. Even as a kid, Susan knew that Tucson is where she wanted to live. So, in 1985, she left Ohio and moved to Tucson! Susan’s sister and her family, Susan’s parents and her other grandparents all made Tucson their home as well. The warm weather, beautiful scenery and casual lifestyle make her feel that Tucson is THE place to call Home!
Moving to the desert, Susan did miss seeing water...so she learned to sail and scuba dive and made many trips to Mexico and the Caribbean. As a Master Scuba Diver for nearly twenty years, Susan has been diving in California, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Florida Keys, Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Saba, St Barts and St Maarten. She has also made some off road trips to Baja California to see the migrating Gray Whales in San Ignacio Lagoon.
Susan’s other passions are photography, art, and exploring new places. She also enjoys going to events around town and occasional trips to Bisbee. Susan loves the downtown area and she is excited for all the new restaurants and things to do down there.
Susan’s career path always led her to customer service. For 15 years, Susan worked in customer service and management at Photographic Works Lab. She also worked in photography, graphic and web design.
