Susan Lorenz

A licensed residential real estate broker since 2011, Susan Lorenz is known for her proactive and responsive approach. She is constantly in touch with the market and her clients, so that when the perfect home is listed or that ideal buyer comes along, she can make things happen. Susan is passionate about where she lives and the reason she chose Bainbridge Island to call home. She fell in love with the Island’s exceptional, small and creative community when she moved here in 2006, and loves helping people make their homes here; Susan knows what it’s like to establish a home and settle into a new community and she loves helping newcomers do the same. Susan is positive, knowledgeable and collaborative, with a positive approach to life that is reflected in her professional life. She understands the market, helps clients navigate contracts, and enjoys providing exceptional service so her clients feel confident and well-represented. After earning an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, Susan spent many years working in corporate sales in California and Oregon. During this time, she completed comprehensive sales training programs that provided her strong negotiation and communication skills that her clients appreciate when they take a seat at the negotiation table. As a homeowner, Susan has managed remodeling projects and worked closely with local architects and builders, and is happy to lend her insight to clients when they need a trusted professional to turn to. She also worked as a special education paraeducator in the Bainbridge Island School District, which gave her an intimate understanding of the local public school system. A third-generation real estate agent, Susan always knew she would one day make the shift into the industry, and aligned with Jennifer Saez when she did. The two have complementary backgrounds: Jennifer grew up on Bainbridge Island and has exceptional market knowledge, while Susan’s experience relocating here gave her an in-depth understanding of what it’s like to settle somewhere new and become established in the Island community. Susan and Jennifer have built a successful business partnership through collaboration and teamwork. Their clients come to them whenever a real estate need arises, because they trust Susan and Jennifer’s knowledgeable and thoughtful approach. The two added another layer to their business foundation in 2018 when they aligned with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, a firm known for their broker-centric approach, award-winning marketing, stellar local reputation and respected global reach. Susan and Jennifer proudly specialize in residential real estate on Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap Peninsula, working in a range of property types, from modest manufactured homes to Victorian farm houses on acreage. They are proud to have been acknowledged among the firm's top five producing agents on Bainbridge Island for the last four years and counting. Susan adores the life she has built on Bainbridge Island with her husband, two children (now in college) and chocolate labs. She is deeply connected to her local community, serving on the fundraising committee at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art and board secretary for her neighborhood HOA. She also supports many community programs including The Art Project, Bainbridge Youth Services and Ovation Musical Theatre, among others.
