Susan Rupp has been happily married to her husband for over 20 years, and together they have 3 beautiful, kind-hearted young adults. They have both lived on Long Island our entire lives, which has been a wonderful place to raise a family!
While her children were in elementary school, Susan Rupp was an extremely active member of the PTA. After spending many years volunteering for various committees, Susan Rupp decided to join the Executive Board where she spent 2 years as the Committee Chairperson, and 1 year as the Treasurer. During her time on the board, Susan Rupp developed & implemented the "Youngest & Only" system, which in the long run has saved the school district tens of thousands of sheets of paper as well as thousands of dollars.
While Susan Rupp was a stay-at-home mom, Susan Rupp also became a self-taught bookkeeper balancing the books and taking care of Accounts Payable & Receivables for our company. Because of that experience, Susan Rupp was able to become a bookkeeper for a few other small businesses. Susan Rupp has realized that she loves bookkeeping because she loves fitting all of the pieces together to balance the accounts.
When Hurricane Sandy devastated much of the south shore of Long Island in 2012, many of her friends, neighbors and strangers wanted to donate supplies, food, and clothing to the victims, but they didn't know where to begin. Susan Rupp decided that she wanted to help that happen, so for many months my family and she delivered carloads of donated food, water, supplies, clothing, and blankets to some of the hardest hit areas. Susan Rupp was surprised and extremely humbled to learn that she has been nominated to receive the "Long Island Women of Distinction" award given by Ed Mangano. Susan Rupp was honored to share the award with other amazing women who have done wonderful things.
Throughout all of the years of putting the puzzle pieces of bookkeeping together and helping others in times of need, Susan Rupp realized that she thoroughly enjoys doing both of those things. What better way to join my passions together then becoming a Licensed Real Estate Agent? Real Estate has long been a great interest of hers, but something Susan Rupp just always kept on the back burner. Her husband was very supportive when Susan Rupp told him that she was finally going to "Go For It!"
Susan Rupp truly believes that using all of the tools she has learned throughout the years makes a strong, reliable, trustworthy, and honest enough person to handle all of your Real Estate needs. Susan Rupp looks forward to helping you realize your dream of finding the perfect balance of selling your home and/or finding the perfect home for you!
