Her availability to us all through the process made such a tremendous difference it's hard to describe. She oversaw all the contracting of repairs and worked with those contractors to make the house presentable. At all points she kept us informed and answered even the strangest questions. Tamara and Erica are a great team and great to work with. They helped us buy a house in our present neighborhood - we had very rigid requirements of where we wanted to be, what kind of lot, etc., and they met all of them.

They are smart, savvy, and responsive. They understand the market and have deep relationships in the neighborhoods they serve which helps them find the houses their clients need. We saw firsthand how their reputation for being honest, direct, and transparent helped us secure an off-market purchase which both the seller and buyer felt was fair.

My wife and I worked with Erica and Tamara on purchasing our first home. We were very happy with how flexible and accommodative Erica was regarding scheduling appointments to see houses. We were mostly only available on weeknights, and Erica did a great job getting us house tours on very short notice and coming out to see houses with us at convenient for us times. We saw a lot of houses before we converged on what house of our dreams looks like, and Erica stayed patient, supportive and very helpful throughout the whole process.

We put bids on several houses and won every one of the bids while only slightly edging the rival bids. Erica and Tamara know market very well and seem to very accurately assess what offer would be enough to get an edge on competition without going much over the price that other people are willing to pay.

At the end of the day, Erica and Tamara helped us to get the house we wanted, and we are very grateful for that!

Our review is for the whole team at Tamara Kucik, but particularly for our realtor Erica O'Neill. Sure, we were selling our home at the peak of the market. But we had our own challenges-- an exceptionally tight timeline, a need to absolutely ensure that everything was wrapped up within a few days of the open house, etc. Erica delivered 100%-- helped us stage the house, told us when we should just disappear for the open house, and when the open house was done, went through every single offer with us. Ultimately, we got what we wanted and way more. Why? Because Erica was great- the buyer ended up being someone who couldn't make the open house times. Being the pro she is, Erica asked if she could show the house before the open house, and again being the pro she is-- closed the house with that interested person quickly and efficiently. End result? A motivated buyer got the house they wanted, we got the deal we wanted, and because Erica understood our circumstances so well, once the open house was over we were pretty much done, except for the closing. We'd sell or buy from her ANY DAY. Thanks Erica--

Selling our rental house in Silver Spring during a pandemic while we were living in Los Angles added another challenge to a normally stressful process, but Tamara and Erica handled our sale with efficiency, confidence and professionalism. After interviewing several popular realtors in Montgomery county, we picked Tamara and Erica because of their experience, communications skills, and their “can do” attitude. Our house sold within five days of listing for 10% more than list price, and closed within 30 days. Tamara and Erica ensured that everything went smoothly, from conducting a video walk through inspection with the tenant, to finding the right vendors to clean, repair, paint the house, and mow the lawn. The house was tastefully staged, the listing photos posted online were impressive, and it showed well. We received multiple offers. During the entire process, we emailed our questions to Tamara. Despite the three hour time difference, Tamara answered them timely. We appreciate their hard work. They are a great team! Thank you Tamara and Erica!

Tamara. She is professional, knowledgable, connected and driven. She has your best interest in mind. This woman not only sold our house for 100K above nearest comp, she did it within 24 hours and during a pandemic. She then spent her time sewing masks for healthcare workers and the local fire department. She exudes compassion and love for the community and you can feel that the instant that you meet her. I have known Tamara for over 5 years now. She is always very professional and treats you like family. The last property she sold for us was 12005 Dewey Rd in Silver Spring. I took her advise on the colors of walls, front door and other details that ended up making a difference on this project. She listed the house on Thursday and we had a cash offer the next day. She suggested we should wait for the open house on Saturday. We gladly followed her advise and by Monday we had 13 offers. We ended up selling the house above the asking price. Thank you Tamara!

I would highly recommend Tamara Kucik as a highly professional, experienced Real Estate Agent. I was very pleased with the whole experience of selling my home. From the initial contact, the preparation for sale of the property, the listing, the marketing, to the settlement I relied on Tamara and her team from Tower Hill Realty. Everyone I came in contact with her team was highly professional and efficient. I was impressed with the marketing of my home from the listing and it’s presence on virtually every possible real estate website to the brochure highlighting it’s features. She contacted and arranged for all the contractors involved with the preparation for sale of the house. Her experience with the real estate market in the area and professional advice helped me to price and eventually get a contract on the house. She was instrumental in arranging the contractors in a timely manner so we could go to settlement quickly, as I was on the West Coast on a trip. At the settlement even the buyers and their agent commented how smoothly and professionally handled the whole transaction was. Tamara is extremely professional and competent and I would not hesitate recommending her to others either buying or selling their home.

Having lived in Silver Spring for nearly 26 years, and being an avid daily walker in my neighborhood, I have seen many, many FOR SALE signs over the years and got a sense for which realtors seemed to move houses faster or slower than others. When I was finally ready to put my house on the market there was no question in my mind but to choose Tamara Kucik as my agent as I had seen her success in selling houses over and over again.
In selling my house, I learned first hand why she is so successful. She listens, advises, and assists the seller every step of the way. When we had some delays in our schedule she never flinched, never hinted that our sale was any less important just because we might have a delay. When we were ready to go, she immediately came to our support in getting the house to market as soon as possible. One reason we so successful in our house sale (on the market 3 days before contract signed) was because of the great advice Tamara gave us in getting our home ready for market ( as well as good advice on reliable and reasonable contractors to help us with our projects). Her insight into the market helped us make the right choices in what needed to be done in preparation for sale. When the time came to go to market, she prepared beautiful marketing tools to show our house at its finest. She also gave us solid advice in our negotiations which resulted in a good contract for all concerned.
For those of us who don’t move often, there are a lot of questions that come up during the process. Tamara was always available to quickly respond to our questions. How she does it, I don’t know, but she made us feel we were a preferred customer every step of the way.
One more thing. As we were looking to move to another city where we didn’t have any connections in the realty market, we asked Tamara for help in finding a realtor we could work with. Her research and good sense led to a recommendation of an outstanding realtor through whom our experience there was just as positive. This, to me, is a measure of her professional judgement.
All in all, Tamara did an outstanding job in making the sale of our home a positive experience. I highly recommend her.

Tamara and her team was absolutely wonderful. When we found the house we wanted to purchase we decided we needed a realtor and we emailed Tamara on a Sunday night. She responded within a hour. She helped us navigate the process every step of the way including recommending home inspectors, mortgage companies and helping us deal with structuring an offer that put us ahead of other offerors.
