About: I love being a real estate agent. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and energetic person, committed to returning calls, texts and emails promptly, who will listen and advise, but never pressure you, please feel comfortable contacting me.
As a lifelong resident of Washington County, I am very familiar with the neighborhoods throughout Portland Metro. This has been an essential asset in helping sellers get the best buck for their home, and buyers the best home for their buck.
Frequently, I hear from my clients that they not only trust me, but also appreciate how I listen to them, guide them smoothly through the often complicated process of buying and selling property, and treat them like family. My actual family members have noticed that I don't just give my family special treatment, I give the same care and attention to all of my clients. You, too, will appreciate my ability to guide you through the process, give you the information you need to make informed decisions, and close your deal-expertly negotiated on your behalf.
I make it a priority to stay educated on new laws and changes in the Real Estate industry. My purpose is for you to be so outrageously happy with the help I provide that you'll gladly introduce me to people you really care about.

Without question the two challenges of buying and selling were completed smoothly because of Tami Parks. First we needed to find a one level home to purchase on the west side of Portland and then secondly we had to sell our existing home. She was able to guide us in a professional manner but went beyond just being a real estate agent. As elderly people , my wife and I presented her with many questions but we soon learned that she was never to busy to be there for us. From previous buying/selling home experiences, we were not looking forward to process again until we met Tami Parks. She is that perfect agent we think is out there but don't expect to find, the one that would be the standard which all agents would use as their benchmark. The one that is down to earth, very alert to All needs of their clients, and an expert at all phases of their craft. We found that agent and her name is Tami Parks. ~ Courtesy of Bill & Bev BTami ParksTami is an amazing realtor! Tami patiently showed me several houses in the Hillsboro/Beaverton/Cornelius area and was very helpful/patient as I made my decision. She was responsive with my requests to see new houses and was always prepared and professional, having the appropriate information for each house we visited. She was also indispensable during the closing process, providing helpful contacts and options along the way.Don WestTami was incredibly professional, helpful and accommodating -- even meeting us to view homes the day after she fractured her wrist! We were working in a tough market and the process itself wasn't always easy but Tami made it as painless as possible and we ended up walking away with our absolute dream home. I HIGHLY recommend Tami!!!Hannah ZaneTami was amazing through the entire home buying process. She was always available to show us houses we were interested in, she drove miles and miles to show them to us, and she helped us through every part of the home buying process which was critical for us as we were first time home buyers. Tami was an incredible person to work with and I would recommend her services to anyone.Laura KintzAnswers (11)

Please contact your accountant for up to date information.Answered: Sep 26, 2017You don't technically owe her anything, if the deal doesn't close. A gift card to her favorite restaurant or coffee shop would be a nice gesture, but honestly, that's not necessary, unless she has spent just hours and hours driving you all over. That's what we do for a living, and we understand that not every offer closes. I hope the Seller accepts your offer and you can move there. If not, I wish you all the best in your search!!Answered: Aug 23, 2016You should contact your accountant, but my understanding is that the rules state that you must live in the property for 2 out of the last 5 years. It does not need to be consecutively, though; it could be 6 months at a time, but must add up to 2 years in the last 5 before you sell.Answered: May 28, 2016Since your job is in the field of your degree, they consider your education as part of the two years that must be verified, so there's no wait time. This assumes you did not have a long gap between graduation and starting your job. :o)Answered: Feb 19, 2016I narrowed the RMLS search to the areas you specified and found 8 or 10. If you'd like more info and a customized, refined search, I'd love to help. "o)Answered: Feb 19, 2016I just did a quick RMLS search and found 8 or 10. If you'd like more info and a more custom, refined search. Please feel comfortable contacting me anytime. You can Google my name for contact info. "o)Answered: Feb 19, 2016I'd love to help. Please feel comfortable calling anytime. I just did a quick search of all Hillsboro and there are 28 detached homes that are $400k or less, not new construction. I'd be happy to refine the search more, if you want to call or email the other criteria that is important - # of bedrooms, # of baths, etc... Kind regards, TamiAnswered: Nov 8, 2015I am not an attorney, but I'm pretty sure that if you have a Repair Addendum signed by the Seller, then no, the Seller cannot back out. You may be needing to contact a Real Estate Attorney (not just any attorney - RE law is very specific).Answered: Nov 2, 2015In answer to: how do I list a home for rentMy husband and I have owned several rental homes for over 10 years, and I would HIGHLY recommend using a reputable Property Management Company - Innovative Property Management and Holland Properties are two that I would recommend. It is so worth every penny to know that someone who is current on tenant laws is taking care of the logistical and day-to-day details. I'd be happy to help you, if you have any questions. Kind regards,Answered: Oct 15, 2015Try calling some local Property Management companies. Sometimes they have homes that will be available but aren't being advertised yet. Innovative Property Management and Holland Property Management are two that I have had great experiences with. Another option might be for you to purchase. There are 0% down loan options in certain areas. You might find that your monthly payment is less than rent. I'd love to help you figure that out, if you want to contact me. I would love to help you buy your own place, and then you wouldn't have to worry about a landlord's whim. If that is not your desire at this time, would recommend searching on Craig's List.
