About Tara
As a Fort Lauderdale native, Tara Quailey-Van Vurst spent her formative years on the beautiful beaches and waterways that surround the area. Developing an appreciation of the striking homes and natural beauty, she knew that South Florida would be her forever home. Today, helping others realize their dream of living in one of the world’s most sought-after locations is a true source of pride for Tara.
As the daughter of a local commercial broker and mortgage banker and sister of a real estate attorney, following her family into the real estate industry was a natural progression for Tara. Quickly establishing a name for herself, she sold her first $1M property at age 23 and has never looked back. Working from the knowledge that buying or selling a property is an exciting and emotional life-changing decision, she has dedicated herself to providing an exceptional client experience and a seamless and stress-free process from meeting to closing and beyond. Tara’s professional efforts have not gone unnoticed; she was recently recognized as the 2018 Young Professional Realtor® of the Year by the Realtors® of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale.
A graduate of Florida State University, Tara holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality with a Business and Marketing minor. Deeply connected to both her industry and her community, Tara is actively involved with several local organizations and truly enjoys giving back. Among her accomplishments, Tara has chaired the Young Professional Network three times over the last five years, is currently the RPAC (Realtor Political Action Committee) Chairwoman, an Eastern Broward Board of Realtors Director, trustee of the charitable foundation of GFLR + RAPB and a member of the Government Affairs and MLS committees. Whenever time allows, she also supports Habitat for Humanity and the Broward Partnership for the Homeless. Tara currently makes her home in Lighthouse Point.
