My wife and I reached out to Tate wanting to buy a piece of land and caught him last minute getting ready to leave for a short trip. He gladly met us in his office on short notice and we had a good, brief discussion. It quickly became clear he was very knowledgable about the Ridgway/Ouray area that we were interested in. Within 2 days we had made an offer on a property that proved to be a little more challenging to close on - due in part to factors that were completely out of his control. During the entire process we felt Tate was a strong advocate for our side of the negotiations, continually ensuring our interests were being protected. It was reassuring to know that the transaction was being handled well while we were out of state. In the end, we couldn't be happier with our experience with Rogers Real Estate Group.Despite a family of bears trying to torpedo a required survey, we have closed and now own a little slice of mountain heaven. We were referred to Tate Rogers from our good friend and Real Estate Agent Adam Black. It could not have been a better fit for our situation. He was knowledgeable about the area and land/water. He listened to our needs/desires and jumped when he could. Most important to us, he let us do our decision-making and was patient with our imperfections and indecisiveness. I recently purchased a commercial property in Ridgway Tate had in his listings. I was immediately impressed with his familiarity with the property and knowledge of the inner workings of the building processes of the town. I was even more impressed to learn that he had taken the initiative to complete and submit a Plat Amendment to allow 5 dwelling units to the property which would would increase marketability and the properties value at the same time. The amount of time and effort that must have taken makes a statement to his integrity and client commitment. Since the purchase, I have reached out to him for additional information regarding Community Planning contacts with the Town of Ridgway which has been extremely helpful. If you’re looking for an honest, hard working realtor who is both knowledgeable and responsive and knows how to get things done, Tate is your man!
