About Taylor
Taylor grew up in the rural area of Brenham, Texas in a family of custom home builders. From an early age, Taylor played as his dad's sidekick, where he learned every facet of quality home construction and remodeling. At the age of 10, Taylor was cleaning construction sites. His duties grew over time to include measuring for material take-offs, managing multiple construction crews, and meeting with homeowners for final walk-throughs before heading to the closing table.
While attending the University of Houston, where he earned a degree in Biomedical Technology, Taylor developed a passion for real estate. He helped his family expand their construction business into the Houston market. It was the experience he gained from these transactions that inspired Taylor to get his real estate license, and he's been successfully marketing and selling homes ever since.
Taylor is very active in his industry and loves serving at his local, state, and national REALTOR associations. He serves as the 2022 President of the MetroTex Association of REALTORS. At over 26,000 members, MetroTex is the 5th largest Realtor Association in the country. At the state level, Taylor serves as a Regional Vice President for Texas REALTORS. He also serves on the Texas REALTORS Professional Standards and Public Policy Committees. Nationally, Taylor serves as a Director and as the Federal Political Coordinator for Congressman Colin Allred.
In 2017 Taylor was named one of Texas REALTORS Top 11 REALTORS to Watch. He was also named the 2019 MetroTex REALTOR of the Year.
Taylor has his Brokers License and is a Certified Residential Specialist - a designation held by less than 3% of all real estate professionals. In his spare time Taylor enjoys traveling, cooking, and entertaining.
