I found this website when I was looking up information about springs and natural geysers in CA: http://www.sloranchandsea.com/Web/AR480749/CustomContent/index/5759814 I had never heard of Paso Robles before but apparently this is one of those towns that sprung up because people thought that the natural springs there had magic healing powers. People would come from all over and take mud baths and stuff to cure their ailments. The site is a Realtor website and the property looked beautiful but too rich for my blood. But I think next time I’m in the area I want to go tour some of their vineyards. Apparently they are ranked right up there with Napa Valley and Sonoma in wine varieties and qualities. Sounds like a nice place to go spend a weekend I think!
