Teri Hill has been a full-time, professional real estate broker since 1987 specializing in the sales and marketing of homes throughout San Diego including Del Cerro, Allied Gardens, College Area, Alvarado Estates, San Carlos, La Mesa, and DOWNTOWN. Experienced in all phases of real estate, Teri is the owner of Hill & Hill Realty and also has a property management division within her company.
Teri is a 25-year member, and from 2001 through 2004, a Director at the San Diego Association of REALTORS®. She helped ensure the professionalism and ethics of the real estate industry by serving on the Professional Standards Committee for many years. Teri is also active with the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. She has also continued her real estate education and knowledge to be able to obtain three credentials, e-Pro and RMS and SRES to add to her ability and achievements. These have given Teri more technology and Risk Management ‘tools’ to better serve and protect her customers and clients. Lastly, her SRES credential has given her specific information, education and knowledge when working with ‘Seniors’ and their specific needs.
Teri is a native of San Diego and has lived in the area all of her life. She knows the area like only a long time resident can and enjoys helping her clients to get the most from her hometown.
Before entering real estate, Teri was a Corporate Security Specialist where she assisted the Vice-President and Director of Corporate Security in all phases of Industrial Security Management. Here she learned the importance of attention to detail and discovered the value of open and honest communication. After 4 years in that field, Teri moved into real estate as an office manager. This highly responsible position involved not only residential and commercial real estate but also included working with the government in obtaining permits and licenses. In addition, she worked with personnel, accounting and administration. When Teri was fully experienced in this phase of her career, she moved into her family’s business, Hill & Hill Realty. This firm, founded by her grandparents in the 50s, has now become hers and Teri has become one of the most active Realtors in the area.
